So we decided to stop at the Tallahassee Auto Museum in Tallahassee Florida. The Auto Museum is actually part of Harvest Hosts which is a group of Wineries, Breweries, Distilleries, Farms, Museums and Golf Courses that allow RVers to stay overnight on their grounds. The Auto Museum had a ton of land for parking and we stayed with 4 other RVers that night.
The museum has so many different types of memorabilia from Cars to Pianos, Die-cast Cars, Golf and Baseball, Guns and Knives, Boat Engines, Kids toys etc... from around the late 1800's till almost present day. There are so many things to see that it will take you a few hours to go through and look at all of the items. Outside there were also some old cars, Elvis's Pink Caddy as well as an oddly placed Star Wars Tie Fighter.
They are a little on the pricey side for a museum but it is worth a look if your in the area because who doesn't love cars! If your in an RV you can stay over night and take your time going through the museum...providing you get their early enough. Oh, and if you don't get to see everything the day you get in they allow their Harvest Host guests to come back the next morning when they open to finish touring the museum...something they do not offer to other guests.
